Read more about Forever Cornwall

Forever Cornwall started with a single holiday let: a small beach house owned by founders Phil and Maria. Guests loved it, word spread, and what began as a modest venture grew into a collection of individually owned homes along the Cornish coast. That independent spirit is still part of the appeal. This isn’t a row of identical holiday rentals; it’s a varied mix of places with their own personalities, from unfussy surf shacks to stylish apartments and substantial houses for bringing everyone together.

The collection stretches from Bude, Port Isaac and Mawgan Porth on the north coast to Gwithian, St Ives and Mousehole in the west, then down to Falmouth, Coverack and the Helford area. The setting changes as you travel: open Atlantic beaches and surf breaks in the north, harbour towns and art-filled streets around St Ives, or quiet creeks and wooded lanes around the Helford. Choosing the right part of Cornwall is half the fun.

Dogs are welcome at many, but not all, of the properties. The range makes it possible to look for a home that suits your kind of holiday, whether you want to be close enough to walk to the beach before breakfast, return from a long coastal hike to a wood burner, or have a garden where everyone can relax outside. Some homes have enclosed gardens, hot tubs or outdoor showers, but these features aren’t standard across the collection. Check the individual listing carefully, especially if your dog needs a secure garden or you want to avoid driving to the beach.

Accommodation ranges from compact retreats for couples to multi-bedroom houses for extended families and groups. Depending on the property, you might find a well-equipped kitchen for cooking with local produce, a sea-view terrace for a slow morning coffee, or enough dining space to get everyone around one table. Many properties offer short breaks outside peak periods, so it’s worth checking if a full week doesn’t fit your plans.

There’s also a thoughtful side to the business beyond the holiday homes. Forever Cornwall is a B Corp, and says it gives more than 10% of its profits to local social and environmental projects. It’s a meaningful part of how the company approaches tourism in the place it calls home.

For dog owners, the practical details still matter: dog fees apply, pets must be added to the booking, and a dog-friendly label doesn’t automatically mean the garden is secure. Get those details right, and you can choose a Cornish retreat that suits the way you actually like to holiday, rather than trying to make your plans fit the property.
