Cranberries Hideaway is set in over 100 acres of private countryside on Hills Farm in Kilmington with outstanding views over the Axe Valley and the Jurassic Coast. A real hidden gem nestled high on a hill in a peaceful and secluded corner of East Devon, this dog friendly wedding venue offers you the best of both worlds – a country rural retreat with a sea view.
Cranberries Hideaway holds a civil ceremony license and can offer a choice of four licensed areas, catering for between two and 250 guests in the function suite and on-site restaurant.
Cranberries can sleep up to 76 guests in the award-winning renovated barns with all the luxuries of a boutique hotel as standard. The large six-bedroomed barns have hot tubs and there is an on-site spa for you and your guests to enjoy being pampered and relaxing with treatments delivered by highly trained therapists.
GARDEN CEREMONY
The ceremony will be conducted overlooking the surrounding countryside with sea views for an al-fresco ceremony in spectacular surroundings. Seating up to 200.
INTIMATE CEREMONY
With views over the sea and countryside, the dining room in the main house is licensed and will seat up to 50 guests. Alternatively, the two-storey restaurant is available for hire.
FUNCTION SUITE
The function suite is licensed for civil ceremonies, still enjoying the commanding views that Cranberries has to offer. Seating up to 200.
THE SNUG
Complete with original stone walls for a truly rustic fee, seating for up to 80 for a ceremony. The snug can also be used for an intimate reception.
RECEPTION ONLY
If you have a Church or Registry Office wedding, Cranberries will be happy to welcome you and your guests after the ceremony to host to your wedding reception. The function room has its own bar, cloakrooms and can seat up to 250 guests.
