The Seaview Inn is a beautiful, traditional dog friendly pub with rooms with the most spectacular panoramic views of the busy inner marinas, harbour and estuary of Falmouth. The Inn dates back to the 1800s, when it is believed the building was constructed in the middle of green fields as a manor house for a wealthy ship owner. It is believed to have been called Zion Manor and the cottages behind the pub still bear this name.Visit website
Although dating back to the 1800s, the Seaview Inn has recently received a major refurbishment with new furnishings, but still retains the traditional pub feel. A warm, cosy welcome with a roaring open fire and a range of good beers come as standard. The bar is a large room with spectacular views over Falmouth estuary, and here or the front terrace seating are perfect for enjoying watching sailing in the harbour with your four-legged friend.
Upstairs in the kitchen, chef Tony prides himself on his range of traditional home cooking, using locally and ethically sourced ingredients. His thick-cut traditional chips are legendary in Falmouth and are available whenever potato quality allows. Sunday is carvery day and always popular, so booking is recommended.
For those wishing to stay a little longer, there are three ensuite dog friendly rooms upstairs, with the dining/breakfast room (complete with binoculars) situated between them – they all have beautiful harbour views.
