Set in the heart of Lynton, St Vincent Guest House is a friendly, characterful B&B that makes a great base for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon coast with your dog. Run by hosts Maria and Clive, the guest house has a relaxed, personal feel and is well placed for walkers, beach days and exploring Lynton and Lynmouth.

There are seven en-suite rooms, with a choice of doubles, twin or superking rooms and a four-poster room. The rooms have their own individual character, with modern amenities, toiletries, tea and coffee-making facilities and comfortable beds. Some rooms have garden views, while the larger twin/superking options also have roll-top baths.

Dogs are welcome at St Vincent Guest House for £5 per night per dog. One of the real highlights for dog owners is the on-site dog grooming service, Rulyn Dog Grooming, which operates from a cabin in the front garden. Guests can arrange to have their dogs pampered during their stay, making it particularly handy after a day exploring the trails and beaches around Exmoor.

The location is ideal for walkers, with the South West Coast Path nearby and the dramatic landscape of Exmoor on the doorstep. St Vincent Guest House also offers help with arranging transport to nearby places, making it easier to explore the surrounding area without having to do everything on foot.

Breakfast is included with your stay, with the guest house particularly proud of its full English breakfast. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided in the rooms, with vegan milk and biscuit options available on request.

There is parking available outside the guest house and in nearby public car parks, although charges apply at certain times. With its central Lynton location, dog-friendly approach and easy access to some of North Devon’s best walking country, St Vincent Guest House is a lovely choice for a dog-friendly break on Exmoor.

St Vincent has three resident cats, so those dogs who stay at the guest house would need to be comfortable around cats.
