About Nutley Farm
Nutley Farm is run by Julian and Anne, who live on site, and sits beside Winfrith and Tadnoll Heath nature reserves in the countryside between Dorchester and Wareham. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are about five miles away, Dorchester is 15 minutes by car, and there are two pubs you can walk to.
There are three award-winning cottages. Cherry Barn sleeps four in one big double-aspect bedroom with a double bed and bunks. Willow Barn also sleeps four, with a king-size room, a twin room, a vaulted open-plan living space and a bath with a powerful shower over it. The Gatehouse is a cosy open-plan cottage for two, with a log burner and a large bathroom with its own dressing area.
Every cottage has an enclosed garden with a table, chairs and BBQ kit, and parking on the drive. There’s Wi-Fi and a laundry, and highchairs and cots are available. Around the farm you’ll meet reindeer, pygmy goats, ducks, horses and chickens.
Dogs are welcome in all three cottages for a small extra charge; just mention them when you book. They need to stay on a lead around the farm, but a footpath leads straight onto the heath, where they can run off-lead on the right paths. The owners ask that dogs stay off the furniture and aren’t left alone in the cottage.
For days out, Monkey World, the Tank Museum at Bovington and Lulworth Castle are all close by.
