So why leave yours at home? With plenty of local walks, beaches and riverside strolls in the area, there is loads for your four legged friends to enjoy at Kingslakes. We have a range of accommodation that your well-behaved dogs are allowed in, so you will never be far from your furry friends.

There is so much to explore for you and your dog: Beautiful walks, stunning nature, places to take a bath…. and why not introduce your dog to new friends? We usually have other dogs staying onsite and even at our bar. Most restaurants and pubs in the area do allow dogs and we are happy to give you more information at our reception.
Secure Dog Agility Field
As part of our ongoing development of Kingslakes we recognise that visiting dogs need a safe and secure place to run off lead and burn off some energy we are excited to confirm that in 2026 we are thrilled to be introducing our new two-and-a-half-acre dog agility field. This secure space allows dogs to exercise freely and also features a shelter for owners to stay dry during wet weather.
New For 2026 – Dog Hamper Packs
We recognise that your dogs are an important part of the family and deserve to be treated while on holiday.
With this in mind we are introducing complimentary dog packs that can be used while staying with us. This includes Large drying towel, 2 food/water bowls, poo bags and some treats.
These will be in your accommodation on your arrival and do not need to be pre booked. Please ensure that the blankets are left in the property when you leave for others to enjoy.

Our beautiful dog-friendly lodges (all with a hot tub) and comfortable cottages offer flexible accommodation ranging from one to four bedrooms. We have options to suit solo travellers, couples and or larger families. From beginners to the experienced angler, Kingslakes is a perfect venue for families, couples, groups and those who appreciate nature at its finest.
