Description

Arlington & Row brings together a collection of carefully chosen holiday homes across the Cotswolds, from characterful village cottages to larger country houses designed for families and groups. Each property has its own personality, but the collection shares a focus on thoughtful interiors, comfortable spaces and locations that make it easy to settle into the Cotswolds.

For dog owners, there are a number of dog-friendly properties within the collection, giving you the choice of staying in a village cottage where walks begin close to the door or a larger countryside home with more space to spread out. Dog-friendly options currently include properties such as The Cottage, Loveview Cottage, Lovedays Cottage, Mulberry Cottage, The White Hart, Banksia Cottage and Summer Lake Lodge, although individual dog policies vary.

Many of the homes are particularly well suited to walking holidays. Painswick properties have access to countryside routes and the Cotswold Way, while homes such as Summer Lake Lodge offer scenic walks directly from the property. The surrounding Cotswolds provide plenty of opportunities for long country walks, village exploring and dog-friendly pub stops.

The accommodation ranges considerably in size. The smaller cottages are ideal for couples, friends and small families, while larger properties such as The White Hart and Kingscote House can accommodate substantial groups. The White Hart sleeps up to 21 across nine bedrooms, while Kingscote House sleeps up to 20 across ten bedrooms.

The properties also offer a variety of features, from private gardens, fireplaces and well-equipped kitchens to hot tubs, games rooms and extensive grounds. Some are right in the heart of villages, putting pubs, cafés and local shops within walking distance, while others offer a more secluded countryside setting.

Arlington & Row’s dog-friendly properties do have individual rules, so it’s worth checking the specific property before booking. Dogs need to be declared when booking and a pet fee applies. The company asks guests to keep dogs off furniture and out of bedrooms, clean muddy paws before entering and keep dogs under control around livestock and in shared outdoor areas. Some gardens and outdoor spaces are not fully enclosed, so guests should check the individual property details before letting dogs off lead.

Whether you’re looking for a cosy Cotswold cottage for two, a family-friendly village house or a larger property for a group getaway, Arlington & Row offers plenty of choice for exploring this beautiful part of England with your dog.
