About Croft Farm Holiday Cottages
Croft Farm sits on the edge of Goonhavern, just off the A30, with the long sands of Perranporth less than ten minutes’ drive away. Newquay and Truro are each about 15 minutes. The five cottages are spread through just under four acres of mature gardens and woodland, so you’ll probably spot a squirrel or two from the window.
Little Croft sleeps two adults and two children in custom bunks. Pine Croft and Hazel Croft are both single-storey, with log burners and sun-trap patios; Pine sleeps four and Hazel four or five. Beech Croft sleeps six in a king, a twin and a bunk room, and has a log burner too. Croft Cottage is the clever one: a one-bedroom cottage with an open fire in the snug that opens through a “secret corridor” into a three-bedroom cottage for six.
Each cottage has its own garden space and a BBQ, and you’re free to wander the grounds. There’s a shared EV charger on site, and the family also sells its own fair-trade coffee, PenGwyn.
Up to four dogs are welcome for an extra £20. Every cottage comes with a dog bed, blanket, bowls and a mucky-feet mat, and there’s an enclosed exercise field where dogs can run off the lead. The cottage gardens themselves aren’t fenced, so the paddock is the place for a proper run. Dogs stay downstairs and off the beds, and the owners are happy for you to leave them for short spells.
Perranporth, Holywell, Crantock, Watergate and Fistral are all dog-friendly beaches, and returning guests recommend the Saints Trail, which you can walk straight from the site to Perranporth and its dunes.
