Tucked away in the Somerset countryside near Pylle, Apple Cottage is a little different from your typical country cottage. Originally an old farmer’s cottage, it has been lovingly transformed into a stylish, boutique-style retreat while keeping plenty of its original charm.
Sleeping four guests across two beautifully finished en-suite bedrooms, Apple Cottage works particularly well for couples, small families or friends looking for somewhere peaceful to escape to. There’s also the option to sleep a fifth guest on a Z-bed.
Inside, the cottage has plenty of personality. The open-plan master bedroom features a luxurious roll-top bath, while the bright Green Room opens through bi-folding doors onto the garden and views beyond. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with a Smeg fridge/freezer, a bespoke butcher’s block and everything you’ll need if you fancy cooking rather than heading out.
Outside is where Apple Cottage really comes into its own. The spacious private garden is a lovely spot to let the day slow down, with a private hot tub and BBQ ready for long evenings under the Somerset sky.
